We want to invite you to register for the Second Annual Corporate Scrabble Tournament to benefit Adult Literacy Action (ALA) Penn State Beaver. Compete with local business leaders, individuals from organizations, and Scrabble enthusiasts during an evening of fun.  The entry fee is $25.00 per player. Sponsorship levels for area business participants range from $100 to $500 and all gifts and door prize gifts are welcomed. We will award prizes, gifts and plaques for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Free audience gifts will be announced throughout the event.
ALA is a non-profit organization and we depend on the generosity and community spirit of Beaver County to help continue and expand ALA services. For more than 30 years, ALA has actively promoted a literate Beaver County by offering free adult education in reading, writing, math, GED preparation, distance learning, English for Speakers of Other Languages, workforce education and family literacy. Last year, volunteer tutors and ALA instructors served over 800 adults at libraries and learning centers located throughout Beaver County.
Please consider supporting ALA at the Platinum, Premium, Gold or Silver level. We are in need of individuals to play, plus cash donations and gifts in-kind that will be awarded as door prizes and gifts for the audience. Sponsors will be recognized in printed programs and throughout our media coverage of the event. Our sponsors are a key component in making the Scrabble Tournament a great success.
