BEGINNING A LITERACY PROGRAM ASSESSING THE NEED PROGRAM STRUCTURE BUILDING A PROGRAM MONEY MATTERS RECRUITMENT PROMOTION TRAINING HORIZONS

Nancy Woods is the director of Adult Literacy Action, a complete literacy services program operated by the Pennsylvania State University. She is also an instructor in the College of Education and the Field Lab Coordinator for the Institute for the Study of Adult Literacy. Laubach Literacy Action credits Woods as a master tutor and master supervising trainer. She has served as director of Tutors of Literacy in the Commonwealth and supervisor of the VISTA/Literacy Program of Pennsylvania.
